Playoffs?!? Don’t Talk About Playoffs.. (in Jim Mora’s Voice)

FANTASY FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS: QUARTERBACK SCHEDULE ANALYSIS

by Jennifer Millman, RotoExperts

MY RATING:  4/5

KEEP IT.

Yes, Millman is talking about the playoffs, fantasy playoffs that is. Jennifer spares us from reading about how we should start Drew Brees and Peyton Manning this week. Instead she takes an in-depth look at the 2nd and 3rd tier QB’s. Millman analyzes the schedules of the QB’s for the fantasy playoffs. Nick Foles and Philip Rivers headlines this article, complete with her sleeper and bust.

Definitely worth a quick read as it will either give you hope or rain on your parade, depending on which quarterback you have.

FANTASY FOOTBALL 2013: HARRY DOUGLAS IS VASTLY UNDERRATED

by Adam Pfeifer

11/23/13

RATING: 3 / 5

KEEP it.

Adam’s cell phone analogy makes me laugh a bit here, but YES, Harry Douglas is very good. You may be surprised to find out in Adam’s article just HOW good in fantasy terms.

Solid article. Be sure to also check out Adam on twitter HERE – definitely worth the follow.

BEST AND WORST SCHEDULES FOR FANTASY PLAYOFFS

by David Dorey

11/22/13

RATING: 3.5 / 5

KEEP it.

Ah yes, Fantasy Playoffs are fast approaching.

It’s time to seriously evaluate your team to decide if you need to do any shuffling via waiver wire or trade due to schedules and articles like this one by Dorey are very useful in doing so.

While it’s easy to agree with a lot of Dorey’s picks being 11 weeks into the season, I do wish we could have seen a few more names on the list.  Nitpicking a little.

SHANE VEREEN BOUND TO KNOCK STEVAN RIDLEY’S FANTASY VALUE OUT?

by Greg Brosh

November 21, 2013

RATING: 2.5 / 5

KEEP it.

I would really like some more statistical measures included here to better support Greg’s premise that Vereen is likely to steal much of Ridley’s thunder through the next 5 weeks, such as snap %, targets, snap % broken down by type of play called, upcoming matchups, etc.

It is important for fantasy owners that Brosh highlighted the RB situation in NE and pointed out what he sees coming, and is something we should further explore beyond what Brosh provided.

Gridiron Experts giving us an article worthy of their name on Tampa Bay RB Bobby Rainey

FANTASY VALUE: BOBBY RAINEY

BY: Jody Smith

11/18/13

RATING: 4 – 4.5 / 5

KEEP it.

Jody is informative as can be on Rainey as he tries to get you excited at the prospect of picking him up for the playoff push.  What’s also nice is that he’s pragmatic about your chances of snagging him, as he’s like the hot chick someone brought back from college to a townie party — everyone will be gunning for him.

So read up on Rainey, but unless you have a high waiver spot or a bunch of Tacos in your league, chances are he won’t be yours.

PREPARE TO DOMINATE YOUR FANTASY FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS

by Rory Anderson

11/15/13

RATING: 2.5 /5

KEEP it.

Most of these guys won’t be netting 15 points per game come weeks 14 and 15.  But there’s definitely a chance they could be due to injuries, resting starters, favorable matchups, and the other typical late-season reasons.

It’s worth the read.

FANTASY FOOTBALL 2013: TOP 10 RUNNING BACKS FOR FANTASY PLAYOFFS

by David Pratt, DPT

11/16/13

RATING: 3.5 – 4 / 5

KEEP it.

Do you own AD, Chris Johnson AND Reggie Bush like I do? What about LeSean McCoy, DeMarco or Knowshon? I’m sure you’d like to know what the weeks ahead in the playoffs hold for them, and Pratt does a thorough job of providing us with that information.  He also add his opinionated conclusion for each, and most are tough to argue with.
